Before you decide to undergo surgery, think carefully about your expectations and keep in mind that result cannot always fit your expectations of ideal hair. Remember, there are limits to what can be accomplished. An individual with very little hair might not be advised to undergo hair replacement surgery.
Most hair transplants at our clinic in Antalya take 1 day. Time-wise, a typical transplant can take 6-9 hours. In some cases, we offer 2-day procedures to maximise the number of transplanted grafts.

By using the implanter pen technique, our surgical team can safely implant grafts between existing hair. Shaving can in some cases improve the rate of implantation, so more grafts can be implanted during the transplant. In any case, we will need to shave the back of your head (your donor area) to extract the grafts.
All shaving and trimming is done at the clinic, so you do not need to do anything before you arrive. Do not shave your scalp or beard before your arrival.
We use innovative methods of administering local anaesthesia before the procedure, so patients experience no pain and absolutely minimal discomfort during the entire process. We have recently introducted a painless anesthesia gun which can numb the treatment area without any needles.
Full results can take up to 9-12 months to show. You will be seeing initial regrowth soon after the transplant, however some of the hair growing out of the transplanted grafts can fall. This is normal. Transplanted grafts will stay with you and produce healthy hair for the rest of your life.
Hair transplantation produces lifelong results. Transplanted grafts will not be affected by hair loss after your procedure. Please note, that a hair transplant itself does not stop the patient's hair loss in the future.
